Recap on the last week 31st Oct – 6th November

Happy Sunday folks

Wow i say this every time but these weeks are flying by so quick…Its now November and we are 7 weeks away from Christmas day and 8 weeks away until the New year 2017.

This last week has been a busy one, i feel like i’ve been here, there and everywhere this week, thats probably because i have.

So last Tuesday we welcomed a new month “November” and a month i enjoy as its all about Bonfire night, fireworks, Christmas shopping and festive drinks available at Costa in Christmas cups.

Tuesday; Was a chilled day as i decided to re organise my wardrobe space and declutter again, even though i did it when i moved out our old house 2 weeks ago.

Wednesday; Me and Dan took a trip to Mcarther glen at Mansfield or South Normanton, i am not exact on the location of it, we went there mainly to take some watches to be repaired at the Watch Station and while we waited we had a walk around and it wasn’t busy which is always nice and we could browse and not feel stressed or rushed, We both treated each other for xmas to another new watch from the Fossil shop, i love Fossil watches as they are made in the same factory Michael Kors watches are made yet a lot cheaper and less bling looking, we both have a nice collection of watches and these are nice more for a casual everyday watch as i have a Rolex yet don’t like to wear it all the time.

Thursday; We decided we wanted to go to Costco at Derby as i haven’t been for years and wanted to see what they had but to mainly see this giant teddy bear they are selling for £140 incl vat and it was huge, have a look on the website at it, We didn’t get much from there as it wasnt as good as i remembered it to be, we then went to ToysRus as the big kid i am wanted to see what they had in for kids at christmas and that wasn’t great either.

We also got to try the new drinks menu at Costa and i had a salted caramel cappuccino and Dan had the honeycomb latte and they where lovely but pricey at £3.60 per drink.

We also went to 3 Aldi’s to get this Christmas Advent Calendar they had in for £8.99 and Harrords are selling a very similar one for £65 and i must say mine is a lot nicer than the Harrords one as it looks more expensive than it is.

Which do you think looks the most expensive? Left or Right?

Friday and Saturday was a chilled day as all we did was bought some rockets and sparklers to let off in the garden as it was bonfire night and i was arranging my advent calendar in the day, filling it with yummy chocolates as the normal calendars are boring as you get the same chocolate everyday just in a different shape.

Sunday; Today we had a lazy morning and chilled until lunch and then popped to Dans parents house to see them and his brother as we haven’t seen them since returning from Florida in June, so the visit was overdue, i have been trying some new gluten free products this week and i wrote my reviews to the companies and one of them was Goodfellas Pizzas as they now sell a gluten free frozen pizza at £3 each available in Tesco and Asda, I was very disappointed with the product and taste and it’s the worst gf pizza available on the market i have tasted and i wouldn’t recommend i, it lacked flavour and depth to the base as i have seen thicker crackers.

Thanks for reading my weekly blog x
